Local monthly meetings help employers design wellness programs and network with other worksite wellness professionals. Is your business currently implementing or thinking about initiating a worksite wellness program? If so you maybe asking some of the following questions.
- What will it cost?
- What is the benefit?
- How will my employees respond?
- How do we obtain upper level management support?
- How do we develop a wellness committee?
- What type of data should we collect?
- What should our wellness plan look like?
- What type of programs should we offer?
- How do we create a supportive environment?
- Should we be evaluating our wellness program?
If you are asking some of the above questions or have other worksite wellness issues you would like to address, attend the Worksite Wellness Council monthly meetings where these and many more worksite wellness issues are addressed.
Meetings are typically held the third week of the month at Siouxland District Health Department. For more information on this meeting contact Angela Drent at email@example.com or 712-279-6119.
